Sometime in December, Raeana told me about this new workout app she’d discovered for her iPhone and insisted that I get it. I wasn’t too open to the idea although I had been complaining for more than 6 months about how difficult it was to find a good exercise program.

One month later, and at least twice a week I’m posting images like the one above to my instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages. They’re all from the Nike Training Club app.

Just as the homepage describes, it’s the closest thing to having a personal trainer right at home. There are a series of workouts ranging from 15 to 45 minutes targeting whichever body part(s) you wish to concentrate on. Plus, the more time you clock on the app, the more workouts that are opened up to you including yoga and workouts created by celebrity trainers like Jeanetter Jenkins and Ary Nunez.

Oh yea… did I mention the app is FREE?

Yesterday I received my second order from Fab.com. I instagrammed pictures of both items and got more inquiries than I thought I would.

Fab.com is just like any other daily deal site except design is the main focus of every sale.

On the thank you note that came in both of my boxes was this quote from the founders of Fab.com:

“We believe everyone, everywhere benefits from good design.”

Fab.com is “on a mission to be the world’s most valuable design resource.” And, they’re well on their way.

When I moved back in December of 2010, I was forced to find my own internet service provider since all of my neighbors had their wifi connections password protected. I decided to go with Clear only because it was the first commercial I’d seen for wireless, mobile internet.

If only I’d done a simple twitter mention search, I would have seen something like this…

In case you were wondering, yes, the service IS that bad. I can barely stream YouTube videos when I want and the Clear coverage ISN’T that good. I went to Virginia and couldn’t use the service in any of the 3, very popular/populated cities I visited. This is the worst interent service I’ve ever used and I would advise all of you AGAINST signing a contract with them.
