My Trip to Houston
If you’re following me on twitter, then there’s a chance that you’ve seen a few of these pictures already. Earlier this week, I traveled to Houston, Texas with my friend Emily and her dad to work on a book project. Em’s dad interviewed basketball Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy (pictured below)…
and William “Willie” Naulls.
To see more pics of our trip (they’re mostly of us eating a lot of food), look below…
Em took this pic. I don’t know if this was on our flight from New York to Atlanta or Atlanta to Houston.
This was during our lay over and after my first meal ever from Chick-fil-A. It wasn’t nasty but it really reminded me of school lunch.
We ate at the Waffle House on Thursday morning. It was my first time there. I got an egg and bacon sandwich with hasbrowns “smothered” in onions. Their words, not mine. Still really good though.
I’m not sure if you can tell how big it is in this picture but that was the biggest bottle of Starbucks Frappacino I’ve ever seen in my life. It was about twice the size of the ones they sell… EVERYWHERE in New York. I guess everything really is bigger in Texas.
On our last day, we went to the 7th largest mall in America, the Galleria. Em got school lunch Chick-fil-A instead of Sonic and tweeted this: I love you, Galleria. Sonic and Chick-fil-a in my belly.
This was me enjoying my last Sonic meal. I miss it already.
That’s a Chicken Club Toaster in case you were wondering. My first day there, I had the same thing except it was with Country Fried Steak and onion rings instead of tater tots. Still very good and filling. I swear they soak that bread in butter though. OMG… SO GOOD!
I had a great trip. Houston might be a destination trip soon if I have anything to do with it. I WANT MORE SONIC!!
