We had a REALLY nice run this week; we spent a few days this week in the 60’s! That won’t be the case for the weekend and probably the next couple of months. Now is a good a time as any to stock up on some winter gear and Reed Space is helping you do just that.
Next Tuesday, November 22, 2011, Double Goose returns to the Reed Space Annex.
Prices are steep if you’re on a budget but the quality is remarkable.

On Wednesday, I took a trip to the Exposure showroom to check out the Spring/Summer 2012 lines for the brands they represent. I just want to say that these ladies and gentlemen put in work. It wasn’t until I got ready to do this post and popped in the flash drive I was given with all of the press kits on it that I realized the drive also included a playlist of some hot ’90s joints. You guys can check the bottom of this post for the complete playlist.
The jacket above is from Dr. Martens. I didn’t get a chance to try it on (although I’m almost positive if it fit Brittany, It wouldn’t fit me anyway) but I can’t wait ’til it’s released! It’s probably the one piece I’m really excited about.
I switched from my crap-ass Blackberry to an iPhone about a month ago. One of my friends keeps teasing me about the case I have now. So, I’m trying to decide if I’ll go with a Good Wood case I’ve seen at Reed Space or go with one of the Incase designs I’ve seen. A few of these are up for sale now on GoIncase.com.

A few weeks ago, I visited the M5 Showroom to check out the Spring/Summer 2012 collection of Duvetica jackets. I remember when Raeana was in Paris and spoke about the line. She was the first person I had ever heard mention it. Only after I heard I’d be viewing the new collection did I do a little digging. Designers Giampiero Vagliano and Stefano Rovolett left Moncler to start Duvetica. I expected the same quality if not better because of it and that’s what I saw.
This was one of my fav for the day.
Suede exterior with a quilted chambray interior.

I was invited to the American Living showroom by PR girl Cachee to review the 2011 Holiday collection. I was already familiar with the brand since it’s exclusively sold in JCPenny, where I often shop.
I promise my trips there started as mere walk-throughs to get to the rest of the mall but you’d be surprised how many great things you can get from JCP. (Might I mention BOGO half off OPI nail polish ALL THE TIME?! you’re welcome!)
Anyway, I stopped through expecting… very… Christmas in the country. That’s pretty much what I got with a few exceptions. The clutch below is one of them.
As value conscious as I am, this American Living for JCPenny is def worth the modest price tag. The bag above is $30 and JCP is good for having 3 day sales almost every weekend. Oh wait… what’s that I hear? Sounds like prices dropping! Owwwww!!

I swore that with the end of summer approaching (the first day of fall is Friday) I would stop hanging out so much. So far, the weather hasn’t been slowing me down as it normally does. A Very Vintage Weekend will have me down on Orchard this Friday so but I’ll be there even earlier for Corrente’s Trunk Show Marathon which features jewelry designer Lauren Wimmer this week.
