A few months ago, my friend Rhonesha introduced me to a new iPhone app called Uber. The Uber app let’s you request a black, livery-style car from your phone and automatically charged to your credit card on file, tip included. As much as I wanted to think it would be a good app, I was skeptical. Anything this… fancy (why use an app when I can just call my normal cab company) would cost more than I’m used to spending. The $10 joining credit was enough incentive for me to try it anyway.
The first time I used it, a very nice, super clean, and super huge SUV came to pick me up at home (STAR STATUS!!) and dropped me off in the city. That initial ride was about $10 more than I would have paid with my normal company and about $15 more than I would have paid if I’d caught a yellow cab behind my building. But with the $10 credit, the ride was well worth it. The car was comfortable, clean, and smelled nice. The driver was well mannered, picked me up at my door (it’s sometimes a hassle to get the drivers to pull into my driveway), dropped me off at the front door of my destination, and the tip was included so there was no fumbling for cash or cards. Just hop in and hop out!

This deal came just in time! I discovered Stickygram not long after I discovered Instagram. Stickygram is a London based company that prints your Instagram photos and turns them into magnets. If you have an iPhone, then the magnets are almost exactly the same size as the pictures on your phone.
I finally ordered a set after Fab.com had a Stickygram sale about 2 weeks ago.
They came 7 days later. My friends loved them (I’ve never had a thread of comments on any of my Instagram pics that long before) so I was happy to see that today is Stickygram’s birthday!! To find out what gift they’re giving to everyone else, look below…

Rhonesha has come a very long way since her first “Her Agenda” mention on AssataSAYS.com and last week, she re-launched HerAgenda.com, “a site that serves as an information and inspiration hub for millennial women.”
If you’re new to HerAgenda.com, take a look through the site and become a member so you can keep up with the power agendas of inspirational women and events for young women on the move!

Everytime I see someone out with an iPhone 4 or later without a case, I just assume they have loads of money. How could you pull it from your pocket unprotected? How dare you? Then I stalk them for as long as they’re within eye sight to see if they’ll drop it. That’s what you get! Hmph!
Anywho, the case I purchased with my iPhone cracked up terribly so I went on the hunt for the most protective case possible that would still fit into my smallest clutch. I found this…
But it wasn’t as pretty as this one.
I’m sure you all know which one I went with. I get asked about it often… “Is that a Nickelodeon case?” “Where’d you get that?” “It’s so cool!” Yes, yes, I know. Thank you.
Wanna know where I got it and where you can get one like it? Look below…

Sometime in December, Raeana told me about this new workout app she’d discovered for her iPhone and insisted that I get it. I wasn’t too open to the idea although I had been complaining for more than 6 months about how difficult it was to find a good exercise program.
One month later, and at least twice a week I’m posting images like the one above to my instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages. They’re all from the Nike Training Club app.
Just as the homepage describes, it’s the closest thing to having a personal trainer right at home. There are a series of workouts ranging from 15 to 45 minutes targeting whichever body part(s) you wish to concentrate on. Plus, the more time you clock on the app, the more workouts that are opened up to you including yoga and workouts created by celebrity trainers like Jeanetter Jenkins and Ary Nunez.
Oh yea… did I mention the app is FREE?

Yesterday I received my second order from Fab.com. I instagrammed pictures of both items and got more inquiries than I thought I would.
Fab.com is just like any other daily deal site except design is the main focus of every sale.
On the thank you note that came in both of my boxes was this quote from the founders of Fab.com:
“We believe everyone, everywhere benefits from good design.”
Fab.com is “on a mission to be the world’s most valuable design resource.” And, they’re well on their way.

When I moved back in December of 2010, I was forced to find my own internet service provider since all of my neighbors had their wifi connections password protected. I decided to go with Clear only because it was the first commercial I’d seen for wireless, mobile internet.
If only I’d done a simple twitter mention search, I would have seen something like this…
In case you were wondering, yes, the service IS that bad. I can barely stream YouTube videos when I want and the Clear coverage ISN’T that good. I went to Virginia and couldn’t use the service in any of the 3, very popular/populated cities I visited. This is the worst interent service I’ve ever used and I would advise all of you AGAINST signing a contract with them.
