One of my co-workers was nice enough to bring in some cross buns for us this morning.

I had no idea about cross buns so I did a bit of research (on wiki so IDK if it counts) and this is what I found.
HAVE A BLESSED GOOD FRIDAY EVERYONE!

I LOVE my borough! You know why? BECAUSE IT’S THE BEST BOROUGH EVER!! Brooklyn Restaurant Week starts next Monday, March 23, 3009 and runs for two weeks until April 2, 2009.

Three course meals are only $23 and at more than 20 restaurants (21 to be exact), a meal is $23 for TWO people!! For a complete listing of participating restaurants, click here.
I recommend Graziella’s for Italian and Mojito’s for Cuban. For all of you non-Brooklyn residents, New York Restaurant Week is going on now and ends on Friday, March 20th. (BTW: You don’t have to be a Brooklyn resident to participate) Sorry for the late info but I had no idea it was even going on.

off, this weekend may be the weekend to head over to IKEA.

They’ll be giving away free breakfast to shoppers from Saturday, August 30 through Monday, September 1, 2008. This should give you the added push you may need to get to IKEA if the labor day discounts didn’t do it for you. To view more deals for IKEA this weekend, click here. work, I had the wonderful experience of eating out at this great restaurant in the East Village called Café Mogador. Café Mogador is a family owned and operated restaurant that serves THE BEST Moroccan food I’ve ever had! Yes… because I’ve had soooo much Moroccan food before. lol… I really haven’t but I think I know good food when I taste it.

forgetting to remind me to take a picture of the front of Sake Sushi. Yea… and what?! I went back again today! I love that place. My homegirl ash (pictured below on the right) wanted to take her aunt (left) to Sake Sushi for lunch. Of course I tagged along. Nothing much changed. I got the same thing I ordered yesterday but rememberd to take pics of my soup and Ashley’s salad. She also got something slightly different than me.

That was my miso soup. It’s some kind of soup with sea weed (??) and tofu. I’m not such a fan of tofu and I normally don’t eat it but I ate some of it today. Wasn’t half bad.

Ashley and her aunt ordered salad and that comes with some sort of ginger sauce. I’ve had it before. The sauce is really good but it’s REALLY gingerie. I think the dressing would be better on some baked chicken. Ash said curry chicken but… you know… apples and oranges.

And Ash and her aunt had Bento Box A (??). It’s basically the same thing I had yesterday with Terriyaki Chicken instead of Salmon. They still got the California rolls, Shumai, and Gyoza.
In case you missed it last time around, here’s the address.
Sake Sushi
95-34 Queens Blvd
btwn 63rd Ave and 63rd Drive
Rego Park, Queens

Sake Sushi a couple of weeks ago when I went with my co-workers. It’s a Japanese restaurant near where I work. Aside from the food being really fresh and tasty, it’s soooo inexpensive. That may also be because I always only get the lunch special.
Well… I went yesterday with my friend Meyhem. He treated me to the best Bento Box C I’ve ever had!

There’s more…
