I don't think I've ever eave picked up Nylon Magazine before. I was on Urban Outfitters' site a while back and they had an offer for 12 free months of Nylon Mag, no strings attached. I LOVE FREE STUFF!!... so I jumped on it. Sorry for not telling you guys about it but I didn't think they'd actually send it.
My first issue came today. I sleep on the train when I'm on my way to school so I probably won't get a chance to read anything until my break at school. Anyway... Nylon and Urban Outfitters are working together for whatever reason. You can read more about that here. They've come together to do some tees and honestly, I'm not impressed. This was the only tee I liked and it's for guys.
Now for the internship... I was just on Nylon's site and I found this."Nylon Magazine is currently looking for office/admin interns to start immediately. I came across another site called EasyBib.com last night. I was trying to figure out how to do an AP style in-text citation. Instead of find the instructions on how to do, Google gave me a site that would handle doing the bibliography for me. I couldn't figure out how to switch to AP style from MLA style on EasyBib so I went looking for another site tonight. That's how I got to BibMe.org.
When you're up late on Sunday night trying to hurry through a 5-page paper and realize that you only have 3 more hours to sleep and STILL have to do a bibliography or works cited page.... YOU'LL THANK ME!
I just have 2 questions:
1. How did our parents get through school without all of this stuff?
2. Why didn't I think of this?

My friends and I were at an event this weekend where there were children in attendance. Because I know some of their parents and close friends of the parents, I am NOT posting the video footage that I took. What I can say about my video is that the way the girls were dancing at the event wasn't much different from how the young girls are dancing here.
Of course this is my own personal opinion (as my posts always are) but I don't think its appropriate for young girls or grown women to dance this way unless you're profession calls for it (ex.: stripper). Women, please raise your daughters. Men... please raise your daughters. If young girls are winding and grinding at 4 and 5, think about what they'll be doing at 12 and 13. Yes!... 12 and 13. If they're doing all that at 4, they start doing other things at 12 instead of 17 or 18. You get my drift?

I saw the commercial on Bravo and I want one but I won't order it. Next time I see one of those "As Seen On TV" carts in the mall. I'm gonna check for it. For anyone who wants to order one, you can go to PackageShark.com. You get two of the openers plus 2 power scissors for $14.95 (plus shipping and handling of course). The price makes me think it doesn't work but it's less than $20. I guess it's worth a shot.

biters. I remember spending 2 months trying to figure out whether or not I wanted to spend $50 (or $50 something) on that blue sheer shirt (pictured below) from Urban Outfitters. It's difficult for me to spend that much on a shirt. I ended up breaking down and paying full price for it in July or August.
About a month after I bought the shirt, it went on sale for $19.99 on the UO site. I did my thing with the people at the UO store and got it the same shirt (in a different color) for the reduced price in the store.
Now, Forever 21 is biting the Kimichi and Blue style. I found this version (pictured below) on their site for $19.80. It's a summer late but whatever. They really do steal designs. I'm not mad about this one though. I love this shirt and if I find it in a Forever 21 store, I'm buying it!

I could be wrong, but I think the point of the article (or whatever) was to create possible Apple prototypes for future products. I doubt if Apple had anything to do with this, but it's a pretty cool idea.
