another late night...

keith called me las minute yesterday to tell me about this video shoot for sa-ra. it was in crown heights so i left home asap and called nesh to tell her to meet me there. yall can thank her for the pics cuz umm... my cousin still has my cam. anyway... talib kweli and erika badu were there. im sure a bunch off other people were there too but i didnt stick around to check. oh yea... and the girl from IN THE HOUSE was there too.

what a fun day...

Heres a couple of flicks from a photo shoot i got a chance to be involved in. some great young, "minority" designers (geez i hate that word minority) were able to show their work. the photos will be in a new magazine called Just BE. im excited for that to come out and you know when it does, yall will be the first to know about it.

me? a top model?...

I think not. Well... not really but the people at the top model open call didn't think so. Me and Oshanna were out on 55th and Broadway from about 2 in the am until 11am. Oh man... thank GOD she drives!! We were able to sleep in her car while the girls in front of us and behind us on line held our spots. A couple of people I knew came through to help me pass the time. At around 4, we encountered this "bum." idk if he was really a bum or not because his signs were just a bit too comical. Take a look.

shoe TIME!

raeana gave me the link to DOLCE VITAS site about a month or two ago. they are still having a RIDICULOUS sale. i bought a pair of shoes off the site a few weeks ago (pictured below) and i bought a pair of ballet flats (pictured above) to replace the ones i bought in 2004 which now have about 3 holes in them. i also went thru about 2 pairs of insoles. yea yea yea... i kno. it was time for a new pair.

they have cute summer shoes for about $30. cant beat that price.
